Yes… he looks like a Peskett

It’s always interesting Googling your surname to see what you can find, ‘Peskett’ isn’t the most common of names, although there are enough of us for there to be another ‘Matt Peskett’ down in the Eastbourne area somewhere. Apparently he’s in ‘Decontamination’…HBO’s Mafia boss Tony Soprano is technically in ‘Waste Management’ so I’m not sure whether I should be scared of my double. Tonight, whilst checking for Google’s progress with spidering this new website, I came across a children’s entertainer up north(ish) called ‘Chris Peskett’. He is the co-writer of the award winning Catherine Tate Show.
Not only does Chris look like my Dad’s side of the family (in fact he looks like my dad in his boyhood photos) but he has a nicely designed website.. a sure sign that he must be related! Chris offers balloonology, unicycling, magic, stilt walking and much more. When I have kids I know who to call on for ‘a 45 minute Magical Giggle show’.

It’s Matt here your Eastbourne double. I google our surname as well
and what a surprise to find my name mentioned on your web site and my
profession put in such interesting terms. Although these days I do have
Tony’s figure and lack of hair. If you want a check out my picture I

Do you think that Chris has a passing resemblance to Steve Wright? In the early 90’s I couldn’t go in a pub or a disco without someone saying “all right Steve�.

He does look like Steve Wright but not half as much as you do! He looks much more like my Dad, I’ll try and dig out a picture of him when he was younger.

Hi Matt, I have a brother named Matt, our surname is Peskett. we are from Ottawa and I now live in Key West Fl. My brother matt still lives in Ottawa. I am a potter here in Key west Fl. My Dads name was Michael Leo Peskett also from Ottawa. I have three more brothers, Randy, Stephen and Greg. Like you i googled the surname and found lots of Pesketts! Actually Matt you have a second cousin Chris (not born in eastbourne)last i heard of him he was a jazz pianist and was playing at one of those tribute to thingies on the telly …. tribute to barbara windsor i think. He looks a bit like that too. well since gt gt however many gt grandad peskett came from down on the south coast i suppose we could be related. Hello again gerald its lackland’s family here!
