I’ve made reference to Ray and May’s English Pub in San Antonio Bay quite a few times during our holiday, so they really deserve a post of their own. I would say that this little pub beside the hotel Bellamar was honestly one of the things we enjoyed most in Ibiza. A great place to get a few drinks down you while waiting for the clubbing hour to come.

Liverpudlians Ray and May decided to open a bar in Ibiza because they like the place so much. Their warm & welcoming attitude to customers is great and makes you want to go back time and time again for your drinks because frankly, the locals don’t seem to much like the English. If you’re not a Liverpool fan don’t be put off by the multitude of Liverpool football shirts decorating Ray and May’s… or their thick Liverpudlian accents. Ray is very accommodating with Sky Sports whichever team you support. I even saw a guestbook entry that said ‘thanks for letting us watch Emmerdale’.

As well as Ray and May themselves it wouldn’t be right not to mention their wonderful barmaid Claire (call me ‘Bubbles’) who was most helpful in offering Suzie_Q and I advice on optimum times to go to the clubs, getting taxis, drink prices etc. Between them, Ray, May and Bubbles provide a welcome home from home.
